Fujifilm X-E2 & XC 50-230mm First Test - English

We can not , however, prevent us from publishing our " First Impressions " , when we have the chance to try out a preview of a new camera and / or new lenses. In this case, we could handle for a couple of days ( exclusive  in Italy) the new Fujifilm XE -2, accompanied by a number of different lenses , including (also in preview ) the Fujinon XC 50 - 230 mm , on the occasion of the National Day of the amateur photographer , worthily organized by the tireless members of the Cultural Photosintesi of Casarano (LE) .

We want to emphasize that , in both cases , it was a pre-series sample , different from the final models that will be actually marketed ... sooner or later .... It is therefore not possible for us , but we believe for anyone in the world, to pass definitive and in deep judgments  . Neither we'll be here to list all the new minor features of the new model , widely known and available to anyone on the corporate website . For now we can safely say that the XE -2 , even if not in the final version ... seems to respond to the expectations, with regard to the overall responsiveness and the speed / accuracy of focusing in critical situations . It seems remarkable the quality of the EVF and quite useful the bigger rear display . The quality of the images ( taken mainly @ full aperture and with many different lenses ) appears to be up to the previous model. Not bad seems to be the new zoom too , which by the way , is in the budget series (XC) of the excellent Fuji lenses . So, we'll let the pictures speak for now... and wait before posting a more comprehensive and thorough review that , just hours and hours of work in various conditions can make significant ....
